Green Square - Town Centre Sydney

An exhibition of two Development Applications (DA's) for the public domain and essential infrastructure for the  Green Square Town Centre has now closed.  The City of Sydney is assessing the DA's and will make a decision about approval in due course.

Landcom and the City of Sydney are working together to bring the Green Square Town Centre to life. The current DAs for the public domain and essential infrastructure are important milestones in that process.

The DAs were based on extensive community input and feedback. Development approval will provide certainty that the community’s endorsement of design concepts like the use of native vegetation, environmentally sensitive urban design and lighting, Sheas Stream, Sheas Park and Civic Plaza can be realised as part of the area’s transformation into the Green Square Town Centre.

Landcom has completed demolition of the Waterloo Incinerator.

Landcom is also in the process of seeking a development partner to participate in the development of a number of sites within the Town Centre where Landcom has a controlling interest.
